Matthew Lenhard

Matthew Lenhard is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of ContainIQ, a Kubernetes monitoring and observability platform based in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Before launching his current venture, he spent six years as the Founder and CTO of the fintech startup LendEDU between 2014 and 2020. At ContainIQ, which he established alongside entrepreneur Nate Matherson, Lenhard develops specialized eBPF-based solutions for tracking cluster health and application performance. His technical expertise in infrastructure led to a featured appearance on the Software Engineering Daily podcast in June 2022, alongside speaking engagements at various Kubernetes events. He also concurrently served as the Co-Founder and CTO of Positional from 2023 to 2025, further expanding his software engineering portfolio. Lenhard's professional background centers on building scalable software architecture, transitioning from consumer finance platforms to specialized enterprise infrastructure and advanced cluster management.
