Matthew Turnshek is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Iliad, an artificial intelligence startup currently based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He established the B2B creative tools company in 2022 to develop AI-accelerated software for generating procedural materials and textures used in visual art and game assets. Operating initially as a single-employee enterprise, Turnshek successfully guided the emerging startup into the highly competitive Y Combinator accelerator program as a member of its Winter 2023 batch. He subsequently presented the platform's technical capabilities to early-stage venture capital investors during the Y Combinator Demo Day in April 2023, officially launching the product to the broader market.
