Matthias Dill

Matthias Dill is the CEO and Managing Partner for Europe at Energy Impact Partners, operating out of Cologne, Germany. In this role, he oversees regional investment activities and strategic partnerships for the global venture capital firm, which manages over $4.5 billion in assets across more than 100 portfolio companies. He recently led the launch of the firm's €390 million European climate tech fund and participated in funding rounds such as FYLD's $41 million Series B. Previously, Dill founded and managed Statkraft Ventures, served as a senior investment manager at High-Tech Gründerfonds, and helped take ICx Technologies public on the Nasdaq in 2007. He holds a Master of Aerospace Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. His career centers on backing late-stage decarbonization technologies and sustainable energy innovations.
