Maxim Nazarov

Maxim Nazarov is the Investment Director at FinSight Ventures, a global venture capital firm focused on backing high-growth technology companies. Since joining the firm in 2014, he has specialized in sourcing and managing investments across the financial technology, enterprise software, and artificial intelligence sectors. His portfolio experience includes notable liquidity events such as the initial public offering of LendingClub and the acquisition of Bumble by Blackstone. During his tenure, FinSight Ventures successfully returned all capital and profits to limited partners from its first fund, bolstered by strong secondary realizations during the 2021 and 2022 IPO windows. Before entering the venture capital industry, he founded a vertical business-to-business supplies marketplace for hotels and earned degrees from Ryerson University and Seneca Polytechnic. Nazarov currently leverages his prior entrepreneurial and product background to evaluate opportunistic investments and support early-stage founders.
