Maximilian Brückner

Maximilian Brückner is a Principal at Cherry Ventures based in Berlin, Germany. Before joining the venture capital firm full-time in January 2021, he passed the German bar exam in 2020 and studied law at Humboldt University and the University of Barcelona. His early professional background includes roles at the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, the investment firm Acton Capital, and the digital staffing platform Zenjob. Promoted to his current Principal title in September 2022, Brückner supports investment deals across the DACH and Nordic regions, working closely with portfolio companies such as Mondu, Moss, and Qlub. He additionally serves as the managing director of Valiant Ventures UG, a Berlin-based corporate entity established with €300 in initial capital. His current investment focus centers on early-stage European startups operating within regulated industries, legal software, cybersecurity, and financial technology.
