Maximilian Grohmann

Maximilian Grohmann is an Associate at Creandum based in Berlin, Germany, where he evaluates early-stage venture capital investments across the European and United States markets. Prior to joining the European venture capital firm, he spent 18 months working on the strategy and product development team at the financial technology company Airwallex in Hong Kong. By the age of 23, Grohmann had already accumulated extensive professional experience across the finance and management consulting sectors through various roles at JPMorgan, McKinsey, Bain, and General Atlantic. A former professional alpine ski racer who previously founded a nonprofit program in South Africa, he recently co-authored a comprehensive fintech financial planning model alongside Creandum investor Peter Specht. His current professional focus centers on identifying and supporting early-stage technology startups operating within the enterprise software, financial technology, climate tech, and artificial intelligence sectors.
