May Han is currently a Partner at Cure Ventures, bringing over twenty years of experience in pharmaceutical drug discovery and development. Previously, she spent eight years at the Novartis Institute of Biomedical Research as a Director and Global Project Manager, where she oversaw a hematologic cancer portfolio and managed approximately twenty drug discovery programs. Before Novartis, Han served as a Director and Program Leader at AVEO from 2003 to 2013, advancing an antibody program through Phase 2 clinical trials, and held earlier roles at Millennium Pharmaceuticals. Throughout her career, she has directed biotech-pharma collaborations exceeding $1 billion in transaction value and acted as a scientific advisor to corporations including AstraZeneca and Merck. Holding a doctorate from Yale University and completing fellowships at Rockefeller University, Han focuses on advancing small molecule drugs, complex biologics, and cell therapies.
