Maya Trujillo

Maya Trujillo is an Associate at VamosVentures, an early-stage venture capital firm. She graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, concentrating primarily in behavioral economics. During her undergraduate studies, she was selected for the Wharton Research Scholars program. Through this academic initiative, she authored an honors thesis examining how centralized venture capital data sources could serve as the key to increased minority access to venture capital funding. Prior to assuming her current investment role, Trujillo completed summer internships at Citibank and VamosVentures, where she evaluated consumer-facing businesses and explored broader venture capital allocation strategies.
