Maynard Webb

Maynard Webb is the Managing Partner of Webb Investment Network, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Los Angeles, California. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Yahoo! from 2007 to 2009 and the Chief Operating Officer of eBay from 1999 to 2006, following senior vice president roles at Terradata and Silicon Graphics. As an investor and Stanford University alumnus, he has backed more than 50 companies, recently leading a 2024 investment in the artificial intelligence startup xAI. His extensive corporate governance experience includes joining the Salesforce board of directors in 2022 and chairing Productboard, an enterprise software company valued at over $2 billion. Additionally, he authored the 2013 bestselling business book "Reboot" on corporate reinvention. Today, Webb focuses on early-stage venture capital allocation and board leadership across the enterprise software and consumer internet sectors.
