Melani Gordon

Melani Gordon is a Venture Partner at Interlock Capital and an independent executive coach based in the San Diego area. Previously, she served as the CEO of TapHunter, a management and marketing software platform for the hospitality industry, which she scaled until its acquisition in late 2022. Throughout her career, Gordon has mentored more than 200 startup founders through accelerator programs and organizations such as Techstars and Founders First Capital. She is a founding member of San Diego Startup Week, operates the SaaS Sales Academy, and serves as a board member for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. In her advisory practice, she delivers CEO coaching, facilitates team offsites, and leads peer groups to address burnout and growth challenges. Her current focus centers on venture capital investing and providing strategic guidance to help software founders navigate operational scaling.
