Melissa Allen

Melissa Allen is a venture capital professional and angel investor based in Toronto, Canada, who previously served as a Venture Partner at LOI Venture. She began her career in digital marketing and sales at Google and Torstar Digital before pivoting to the financial services sector. After selling her financial practice in 2020 to focus entirely on startup investing, she held leadership roles including Head of Operations at Bay Mills Investment and Executive Director at the League of Innovators. During her tenure with the League of Innovators, the affiliated accelerator graduated over 250 businesses valued near one billion dollars, while her LOI Venture portfolio included seed investments in Frenter and Mentibus.
