Michael Driscoll

Michael Driscoll is a Partner at DCVC in San Francisco, California, where he oversees early investments in enterprise artificial intelligence, life sciences, and climate technology. At DCVC, a deep tech venture capital firm managing over $3 billion in total assets, he recently helped raise a $600 million sixth fund in October 2024. His investment portfolio features prominent technology companies including Scale AI, Recursion Pharmaceuticals, and Cruise, and he currently serves on the board of directors for Protect AI. Before transitioning to venture capital, Driscoll founded and led the advertising technology platform Metamarkets, which was successfully acquired by Nielsen in 2014.
