Michael Hoeck

Dr. Michael Hoeck is an Earlybird UNI-X Founding Partner at Earlybird Venture Capital based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Before assuming his current position in July 2021, he served as an Investment Manager at Proyecta Ventures GmbH and co-founded 5P Capital as its Managing Director. He also gained corporate experience holding senior roles at TWS Partners and European Economic and Marketing Consultants. His academic credentials include a doctorate in economics from RWTH Aachen University, a master's degree from Maastricht University, and undergraduate studies at Harvard University. Operating as one of six partners for the UNI-X fund, he targets seed to Series B investments with check sizes ranging from $100,000 to $5 million while lecturing at Universität Mannheim. Hoeck currently focuses on early-stage venture capital allocations across the mobility, material science, food, and education sectors.
