Michael Katz

Michael Katz is an angel investor and strategic advisor at mParticle based in New York City, New York. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of mParticle from 2014 to 2020, where he scaled the customer data platform to more than 200 employees and over $100 million in annual recurring revenue prior to its acquisition. Before his tenure as CEO, Katz held the position of Vice President of Product at LivePerson and gained early industry experience through roles at DoubleClick and Gartner. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and recently joined the board of directors at an emerging customer data platform startup in 2024. His current professional focus centers on advising and funding early-stage enterprise software and marketing technology companies, leveraging his extensive operational background in data infrastructure.
