Michael Li

Michael Li is a Principal on the Healthcare Team at New Enterprise Associates (NEA) based in the Bay Area. Before joining NEA in 2021 to invest in healthcare technology, he worked in the healthcare group at Court Square Capital. He began his financial career as part of the inaugural analyst class at PJT Partners following the firm's spinoff from Blackstone Group. Li holds a degree in international relations and economics from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. In addition to his primary investment responsibilities, he is actively involved with LaunchTN, a statewide public-private partnership initiative designed to foster startup growth and venture capital formation in his home state of Tennessee. His current focus centers on supporting digital health founders across the seed, early, and growth stages of company development.
