Michael Lombardi is the Managing Partner at The Board Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in New York City, New York. Before transitioning to venture capital, he worked in investment banking at JPMorgan Chase and held operational roles at the health technology company Oscar Health. Through his current firm, Lombardi has invested in more than 20 technology startups, recently leading an $8 million seed funding round for the software platform ForgeTech in January 2026. He also serves as an advisor to the artificial intelligence company Nexus Labs, maintains an audience of over 5,000 followers on LinkedIn, and recently published an analysis of investment trends in TechCrunch. Holding a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School, Lombardi currently focuses his investment strategy on early-stage financial technology, enterprise software, and artificial intelligence companies.
