Michael Novogratz

Michael Novogratz is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Galaxy Digital, a financial services and investment management firm focused on the digital asset and blockchain technology sectors. Before transitioning to the cryptocurrency industry, he spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was elected Partner in 1998, and subsequently served as Partner and President of Fortress Investment Group. During his tenure in traditional finance, he served on the Investment Advisory Committee on Financial Markets for the New York Federal Reserve from 2012 to 2015. A former United States Army helicopter pilot who earned an AB in Economics from Princeton University, he also acts as Chairman of The Bail Project and sits on the board of NYU Langone Medical Center. His current focus centers on scaling institutional infrastructure for digital assets while actively supporting criminal justice reform.
