Michael Rapino is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Live Nation Entertainment, originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario. After founding a Canadian concert promotion company in the late 1990s, he was appointed to his current chief executive role in 2005. He subsequently orchestrated the 2010 corporate merger with Ticketmaster, scaling the enterprise to generate over $10 billion in annual revenue across more than 40 countries. Under his leadership, the firm expanded its portfolio through strategic investments in festival properties like Lollapalooza, and launched a production division that executive produced the $200 million motion picture A Star is Born. He also serves on the board of directors for Sirius XM Holdings and holds a Bachelor of Administration degree from Lakehead University. Rapino currently focuses on consolidating global live music promotions, ticketing operations, and international media sponsorships.
