Michael Tian

Michael Tian is a Vice President at Next Coast Ventures, an early-stage technology investment firm. In his current capacity, he evaluates prospective investments typically ranging from $3 million to $5 million in scale, builds strategic relationships with entrepreneurs, and provides operational support to existing portfolio companies. His primary investment focus spans several distinct sectors, specifically targeting digital health, health and hospital services, health information technology, retail, consumer marketplaces, and wellness and fitness. Prior to joining Next Coast Ventures as an investment associate and subsequently earning promotions to Senior Associate and Vice President after a two-year tenure, Tian worked as a management consultant at Strategy&. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the UT McCombs School of Business. Tian currently focuses on deploying venture capital into early-stage technology and healthcare enterprises across his target markets.
