Michael Walden

Michael Walden is the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Partner at Rethink Capital Partners, as well as the President and Managing Partner of Rethink Community, based in Harrison, New York. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Richmond and began his career serving on the legislative staff of U.S. Senator Arlen Specter. Over his 25-year career, Walden has held various operating roles within venture-funded growth companies across the technology and telecommunications sectors. Since joining Rethink Capital Partners in 2011, he has led the development of four distinct investment strategies and currently sits on the investment committees for Rethink Education, Rethink Impact, Rethink Community, and Rethink Healthcare Real Estate. His current focus centers on overseeing venture operations and directing early-stage impact investments targeting economic mobility, education, and community housing.
