Michelle Gonzalez

Michelle Gonzalez is the Corporate Vice President and Global Head of M12, Microsoft's venture capital arm, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before joining Microsoft, she served as the managing partner of Area 120, Google's internal incubator, where she oversaw a record number of projects transitioning into core company products. Her previous experience includes working as a partner at IBM Ventures, an entrepreneur-in-residence at Comcast Ventures focusing on artificial intelligence, and a senior product leader at Apple managing international media businesses. In 2010, she co-founded the Influencer Series, a technology community that has hosted over 90 roundtable discussions for more than 4,000 founders and investors. Holding a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School and a bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma, Gonzalez currently focuses on corporate venture capital strategy and emerging technology investments.
