Michelle Levine

Michelle Levine is a Boston-based Principal at Solasta Ventures, where she focuses on early-stage private therapeutics and drug development investments. Before transitioning to venture capital, she spent nearly a decade working as a molecular biologist, which included conducting hematology-oncology research at Brigham and Women's Hospital. After earning a BA in Biology from Boston College, she received a PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, completing her thesis on defective cell division machinery in tumorigenesis. Following her doctoral studies, Levine worked as a Consultant at ClearView Healthcare Partners, providing strategic guidance to life sciences organizations. She initially joined Solasta Ventures as a Senior Associate in September 2021 and was promoted to her current role in September 2024, combining deep scientific expertise with venture capital experience to evaluate emerging biotech modalities.
