Mijin Han is a Principal at Korea Investment Partners based in Chicago, Illinois. Originally from South Korea, she is currently completing her Master of Business Administration at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where she was designated as a Forté Fellow to support women in business. Prior to her current position, Han gained venture capital experience as a Summer Associate and an ICM Mosaic Fellow at City Light Capital. During her tenure in these roles, she evaluated early-stage venture capital investment opportunities with a specific mandate on social impact investing. Her investment thesis primarily targets startups developing solutions designed to improve the quality of life for diverse and minority communities across various sectors. Han currently focuses on expanding venture capital allocations into underrepresented markets while leveraging her academic and professional background to identify high-impact enterprises.
