Previously, he spent 18 years in executive roles at UnitedHealth Group, including his position as Chief Commercial Officer for the $95 billion OptumRx division. During his tenure, Cunningham operated as Chief Operating Officer of Growth for Optum, overseeing $30 billion in revenue, and acted as President of United Healthcare National Accounts, managing a $10 billion profit and loss portfolio. His earlier career includes leadership positions at Standard and Poor’s and ADP, alongside venture capital experience at the early-stage technology firm PJC.
