Mike Shim

Mike Shim is a General Partner at Outlander VC based in San Francisco, California, where he focuses on pre-seed and seed-stage investments in the technology sector. He previously worked as an Associate at Cooley LLP, specializing in startup law and venture financing, after earning a JD from Cornell Law School and a BA from Georgetown University. Since joining Outlander VC in the first quarter of 2025, Shim has helped manage a portfolio of over 20 companies and recently led a $3 million seed investment in the artificial intelligence startup Langflow in February 2026.
