Mikhail Lobanov

Mikhail Lobanov is a General Partner and Co-founder at Target Global, a London-headquartered venture capital firm, and is currently based in Germany. Prior to establishing the venture firm, he served as a portfolio manager at Alfa Capital, one of the largest asset managers in his native region. During his tenure there, Lobanov successfully managed a portfolio of over $200 million in assets specifically dedicated to the institution's fifteen largest private wealth clients. He holds a bachelor's degree from the London School of Economics and has twice won national competitions in economics and entrepreneurship. In his current capacity, Lobanov oversees co-investor relationships and directs early-stage capital into prominent European startups, backing notable companies such as Revolut and Rapyd. His ongoing professional focus centers on identifying and scaling emerging financial technology and e-commerce platforms throughout the broader European venture ecosystem.
