Mikiko Clanton

Mikiko Clanton is a Senior Associate at MS&AD Ventures based in Menlo Park, California. In this current role, she evaluates early-stage technology investments across the growing sustainability, climate, digital health, and insurtech sectors. Prior to joining MS&AD Ventures, Clanton spent three years at Yamaha Motor's corporate venturing division, where she directed strategic investments in the food and agricultural technology markets. Earlier in her professional career, she worked as an analyst and business developer at Bosch in Japan, managing various smart agriculture startup projects. Her cross-cultural expertise and detail-oriented approach earned her formal recognition as one of the Top 50 Rising Stars in corporate venturing by Global Corporate Venturing in 2023. Clanton currently focuses her venture capital practice on supporting early-stage founders who leverage artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and big data to address pressing global social issues.
