Min Jin Chong

Min Jin Chong is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Revery AI, an artificial intelligence startup based in Emeryville, California. He is concurrently completing his PhD in Computer Vision at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign under the advisement of Professor David Forsyth. Prior to establishing his current enterprise in 2020 alongside co-founders Kedan Li and Jeffrey Zhang, Chong gained applied industry experience working as a researcher at Pinterest and a software engineer at Fitbit. At Revery AI, he directs a five-person technical team developing scalable virtual try-on technology for fashion e-commerce platforms like Zalora. The company secured a $125,000 investment as part of the Y Combinator Summer 2021 batch and later joined the TSVC portfolio. His current focus remains on advancing generative modeling and image manipulation to improve computer vision architectures for digital retail applications.
