Miriam Fernandez

Miriam Fernandez is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Vinco, an education technology startup based in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. In her current executive capacity, she directly oversees academic and employer partnerships for the technology platform, which generates an estimated $4,900,000 in annual revenue and maintains a workforce of up to 100 employees. Under her operational leadership, Vinco participated in the prestigious Y Combinator Summer 2021 batch and subsequently secured $2,400,000 in total venture funding to reach an estimated valuation of $15,700,000. Before establishing the startup in September 2020, Fernandez gained cross-sector business operations experience through previous professional roles at Galera and Mitsubishi. A graduate of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, Fernandez currently focuses her professional efforts on leveraging scalable education benefits to improve corporate employee retention rates across Latin America.
