Mitchell Kapor is the Founder and Partner of Kapor Capital, an impact investment firm based in Oakland, California. He previously co-founded and served as the CEO of Lotus Development Corporation in 1982, where he helped create the widely used Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet software. In 1990, Kapor established the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a digital rights organization that has since grown to exceed one million members. As an early-stage investor, he backed prominent technology platforms including Uber and Wikipedia, and his current firm manages a portfolio of over 50 companies.
