Mitra Miri

Mitra Miri is a Partner at Osage University Partners in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she evaluates therapeutic investment opportunities for the life sciences team. Promoted in January 2026, she directs capital from a fund managing over $800 million that has backed more than 150 technology and life science startups originating from university research labs. Before joining Osage, Miri served as an investor at Connecticut Innovations, sourcing and diligencing deals across digital health, medical devices, diagnostics, and therapeutics. Her background bridging academic research and commercial ventures includes roles as a Company Creation Fellow at Flagship Pioneering, a Life Sciences Consultant at LEK Consulting, and a Strategy Analyst at Yale University. She holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Yale University, where she was a National Science Foundation Fellow, and a BA in Biology from the University of Texas.
