Mohamad Makhzoumi

Mohamad Makhzoumi is the Co-CEO of New Enterprise Associates (NEA), a prominent United States venture capital firm where he originally began his professional career as a summer intern in 2000. Over his nearly 25 years advancing through the venture capital organization, he previously served as Co-President and Managing General Partner of Healthcare. In these executive leadership roles, he oversaw global investments across digital health and life sciences, spanning from early seed-stage venture capital to late-stage growth equity. Makhzoumi has held extensive board director positions at highly recognizable healthcare companies, including Collective Health, Bright Health, Radiology Partners, DaVita NephroLife, and U.S. Renal Care. Furthermore, he serves on the board of directors for the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health at Stanford University, reflecting his dedicated focus on scaling innovative healthcare technology and services enterprises.
