Monica Varman

Monica Varman is a Partner at G2 Venture Partners, where she focuses on portfolio investments in the circular economy, grid resilience, and the future of work. Previously, she worked in strategic finance and business operations at Tesla, assisting with the manufacturing scaling of the Model S, and served as a sustainability practice lead at McKinsey & Company advising energy and infrastructure executives. Her earlier career includes developing distribution and logistics strategies for off-grid solar provider Zola Electric in Tanzania and Rwanda, as well as conducting energy security research at the Council on Foreign Relations. Varman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Mathematics, and Sustainable Development from Columbia University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She leverages her operational and advisory expertise to identify investment opportunities at the intersection of climate technology, sustainable infrastructure, and business resilience.
