Naguib Sawiris

Naguib Sawiris is the Chairman of Orascom Investment Holding, La Mancha Holding, and Ora Developers. He previously founded Orascom Telecom Holding and led the enterprise until a 2011 merger with VEON, which established the sixth-largest mobile telecommunications provider globally. Through La Mancha Holding, he directs a multinational private investment portfolio focused on the mining sector, holding significant stakes in companies such as Endeavour Mining, Horizonte Minerals, and G Mining Ventures. Sawiris holds degrees in engineering and technical administration from ETH Zürich and has served on several major international boards and advisory councils. Additionally, he oversees high-end real estate and hospitality projects worldwide through Ora Developers and operates as an active venture technology investor. His current professional focus centers on driving asset management and capitalizing on high-growth investment opportunities across the Egyptian and broader African markets.
