Naiane Pontes

Naiane Pontes is an early-stage venture capital investor at Latitud who focuses her capital deployment across the Latin American region. In her current role, she manages pre-seed and seed-stage allocations ranging from $50,000 to $200,000 for a firm with $30 million in assets under management that has supported over 400 regional technology startups. Her recent investment activity includes co-leading a seed funding round for Vaas and participating in a $3 million seed financing for the corporate spend platform Clara. Before joining Latitud, Pontes built her venture capital expertise as an investor at Global Founders Capital and WeVentures, following early operational experience at Google. Originally trained as a chemical engineer, she now focuses entirely on identifying emerging founders across the fintech, vertical software, healthtech, e-commerce, and proptech sectors throughout the broader Latin American startup ecosystem.
