Nan Chen

Nan Chen is currently a Principal at Qiming Venture Partners, where he focuses on investments within the firm's Technology and Consumer team. Prior to transitioning into the venture capital industry, he spent ten years at Cisco Systems China, holding various operational and strategic roles. During his decade-long tenure at the multinational technology conglomerate, his responsibilities spanned pre-sales, consulting engineering, product management, sales, and business development. His academic credentials include a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Beihang University and a Master of Business Administration from the National Development Institute of Peking University. Additionally, he earned a Master of Science in Global Finance from Fordham University to further support his transition into institutional investing. Today, Chen leverages his extensive corporate engineering background and formal financial education to identify and evaluate emerging high-tech startups for the firm.
