Nancy Harrison

Nancy Harrison is currently a Venture Partner at Amplitude VC, where she focuses on early-stage venture investments in health technologies and the life sciences sector. Prior to joining Amplitude in 2020, she spent over fourteen years operating as a Partner at Venture West, contributing to the firm's successful efforts to raise $700 million across eight distinct venture funds. Harrison also previously served as a director at Knight Therapeutics and has maintained active leadership and advisory roles within the broader Canadian biotechnology ecosystem. She is currently a board member of LifeSciences BC and provides mentorship to emerging entrepreneurs through organizations such as the Creative Destruction Lab, adMare BioInnovations, Canada’s Digital Technology Supercluster, and Genome BC. With more than thirty years of operational and investment industry experience, her primary focus remains on company creation and scaling innovative biotechnology enterprises.
