Natalie Massenet

Dame Natalie Massenet is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Imaginary Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in New York City. She previously founded the luxury e-commerce platform Net-A-Porter in 2000, scaling the enterprise to $1 billion in annual revenue before her departure. Massenet also served as Chairman of the British Fashion Council from 2013 to 2017 and held the position of non-executive Co-Chair at Farfetch until 2020. In 2018, she partnered with investor Nick Brown to launch Imaginary Ventures, a firm that reached $1 billion in invested capital across more than twenty portfolio companies by 2022. The firm's strategic investments include direct-to-consumer beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands such as Glossier. Her current professional focus centers on identifying and funding early-stage consumer brands operating at the intersection of modern retail and technology.
