Neil Capel

Neil Capel is a Venture Partner at Bowery Capital, an early-stage B2B venture capital firm. Previously, he founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Sailthru, a marketing technology and cross-channel personalization platform for enterprise customers. Under his executive leadership, the software company expanded to over 150 employees across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand, ultimately securing a $20 million Series C financing round led by Scale Venture Partners. Before his transition into venture capital, Capel held technical and leadership positions at digital media company Refinery29 and Hyphen, building upon his academic foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Today, his primary professional focus centers on identifying and supporting early-stage business-to-business software startups by leveraging his extensive operational background in building large-scale web systems and data-driven marketing technologies.
