Neill Occhiogrosso

Neill Occhiogrosso is the Director of Investments at the Johns Hopkins University Investment Office, where he manages public and private allocations across technology and consumer businesses. Before joining the university in October 2019, he spent over thirteen years as a venture capital investor, most recently serving as a Partner at Costanoa Ventures. His prior financial experience includes working as a Principal at both Investor Growth Capital and Highland Capital Partners, following his graduation from Duke University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Throughout his venture career, Occhiogrosso has invested in more than thirty early- and growth-stage companies, backing notable technology enterprises such as 2U, Gigamon, Acquia, Kenna Security, and Turbonomic. His current institutional focus leverages his foundational background as a software engineer and product manager to evaluate complex technology and consumer portfolios.
