Nellie Levchin

Nellie Levchin is a Founding Partner at SciFi VC, an early-stage venture capital fund based in San Francisco, California. She began her career as an early employee at PayPal, serving as a Financial Systems Product Manager and Financial Planning Analyst through the company's acquisition by eBay. Following her tenure at PayPal, Levchin joined Clarium Capital Management, where she held multiple leadership roles including Chief Risk Officer, Vice President of Risk Management, and Director of Operations. Alongside her husband and PayPal co-founder Max Levchin, she established SciFi VC to provide early-stage founders with operational frameworks derived from their experiences building companies like Affirm. She also serves on the boards of directors for Artivest and Glow, Inc. Levchin currently focuses on pre-seed to growth-stage investments across the financial technology sector, targeting startups with technical advantages in credit, infrastructure, insurance, and payments.
