Niall Dalton

Niall Dalton is the Founder of LiquidMetal AI, a Sequoia Capital-backed technology startup developing artificial intelligence infrastructure and developer tools. Founded in 2020 and previously operating under the name Seaplane, the enterprise focuses on building scalable AI-native infrastructure to support modern software engineers. Prior to launching his current venture, Dalton served as an Applied AI Engineer at Scale AI, where he specialized in machine learning systems. He also developed embedded software for Project Kuiper during his tenure at Amazon, and gained further industry exposure through his association with Cloudflare. His earlier technical background includes specialized machine learning and research roles at Activ Surgical, Northeastern University, and the MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Machine Learning at University College London, Dalton maintains a primary professional focus on advancing AI developer tools and complex computational infrastructure.
