Nicholas Francis

Nicholas Francis is a General Partner at NFX, an early-stage venture capital firm managing over $900 million in assets, based in San Francisco, California. Before joining the firm in 2022, he co-founded and served as the CEO of PlotDevice, a software company that was subsequently acquired by Unity Technologies. He previously held various engineering roles across the startup sector after studying computer science at the University of Cambridge. In his current capacity, Francis directs investments across SaaS, developer tools, and gaming, recently leading a $50 million Series B funding round for Twelve Labs in May 2024.
