Nick Fischer

Nick Fischer is an Angel Investor at VentureSouth based in Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to his current investment career, he co-founded multiple SaaS ventures and managed technology operations after completing his education at the University of Virginia. Through his involvement with VentureSouth, Fischer has directed funding into more than twenty early-stage startups, recently participating in the firm's $10 million regional fundraise in 2024. His investment portfolio includes notable liquidity events such as the 2012 initial public offering of Benefitfocus, and he expanded his advisory roles by joining a South Carolina artificial intelligence startup in January 2026.
