Nick Macario

Nick Macario is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Verifiable, a decentralized verifiable credentials platform, and is currently based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Prior to launching Verifiable in early 2024, he co-founded Dock Network, a decentralized identity network that secured more than $15 million in funding to advance credential verification infrastructure within the broader Ethereum ecosystem. Macario also previously served as a Co-Founder of the global employment and remote work platform Remote, and he was involved with the technology startup Cheq prior to its corporate acquisition by TransUnion. He remains actively engaged in developing industry standards for blockchain applications, which included speaking on decentralized identity protocols at the Identity Week 2025 conference. His entrepreneurial background centers on building scalable Web3 infrastructure, with a current focus on advancing decentralized identity management and verifiable credential technologies globally.
