Nick Mindel

Nick Mindel is a Managing Partner at Amplify.LA, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Los Angeles, California. In this role, he oversees investments across the financial technology, enterprise SaaS, and consumer internet sectors for a fund managing more than $200 million in total assets. His investment portfolio includes backing over 50 technology startups, with notable early-stage investments in recognizable consumer and enterprise platforms such as Cameo and Hopscotch. Prior to his venture capital career, he gained institutional finance experience with Oaktree Capital Management and earned an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the USC Marshall School of Business. He also holds a dual bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Southern California. Mindel currently focuses on deploying foundational capital to early-stage technology founders operating within the broader startup ecosystem.
