Nick Tomaino

Nick Tomaino is the Founder and General Partner at 1confirmation, an early-stage cryptocurrency investment firm managing over $1 billion in assets. Before launching the fund in 2017, he served as a product manager at Coinbase from 2013 to 2016 and worked in venture capital at Runa Capital. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bowdoin College, attended the Yale School of Management, and previously founded the Token Summit to foster early blockchain community development. Through 1confirmation, Tomaino has directed capital into foundational digital asset projects and platforms, securing early stakes in Ethereum, OpenSea, and dYdX. His portfolio also encompasses prominent non-fungible token assets, including early investments in CryptoPunks and the digital artist Beeple.
