Nick Washburn

Nick Washburn is a Senior Managing Director at Intel Capital based in Denver, Colorado, where he co-manages the firm's cloud investment domain and serves as a voting member of the investment committee. Since joining the corporate venture capital group in 2014, he has directed early-stage allocations across cloud-native infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and developer tools. Washburn currently holds board positions or oversight roles at several portfolio companies, including Fly.io, Anyscale, and Truffle Security, having recently co-led the latter's Series B funding round in November 2025. His previous industry involvement includes serving as a director on the board of the National Venture Capital Association and completing the Kauffman Fellows program as a member of Class 25. Washburn maintains a primary investment focus on backing early-stage enterprise software startups building foundational data platforms and machine learning infrastructure.
