Nicola McClafferty

Nicola McClafferty is a Partner at Molten Ventures based in Dublin, Ireland, where she heads the local office and leads the firm's digital consumer investment strategy. She joined the venture capital firm, formerly known as Draper Esprit, in February 2017 to expand its regional presence and identify early-stage technology companies. Before returning to venture capital, McClafferty co-founded the online luxury fashion retailer Covetique.com in 2011 and served as its Chief Executive Officer until the company was acquired by ASOS plc in 2015. Earlier in her career, the University College Dublin graduate spent five years as an early-stage investor at Balderton Capital and Ravensbeck, focusing on digital media and technology startups. Her current focus centers on bridging her prior entrepreneurial experience with institutional investing to support scalable consumer technologies and emerging Irish tech firms across the digital landscape.
