Nicolas Dessaigne

Nicolas Dessaigne is a Silicon Valley-based technology entrepreneur currently serving as a General Partner at Y Combinator and a Board Director at Algolia. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Nantes and began his professional career gaining enterprise search experience as a software engineer at Exalead. Dessaigne subsequently co-founded the search API platform Algolia, leading the enterprise as Chief Executive Officer until 2020 while scaling the global workforce to 350 employees and driving its corporate valuation past $2 billion.
